It all started when…

… my uncle, a school director, granted me exclusive access to a classroom during vacations, where I spent hours designing on an enormous blackboard. This early exploration set the stage for my artistic journey.

At 8, with a sewing machine and boundless imagination, I began to shape my future choices. My passion led me to Sint Lucas art school in Ghent and then to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. For almost four decades, the world of fashion became my chosen realm of expression.

Nine years ago, I returned to my first love—ART. Memories of joyful artistic education and carefree days reignited a flame that had long smoldered and inspired me to enroll in ceramic courses at the Anderlecht Academy, starting my second artistic life.

Proudly working in my own atelier, I found joy in molding clay into unique expressions of art, which I displayed at Showroom 144 in Brussels. In December 2023, I celebrated a milestone with my first duo-exhibition, receiving appreciation from art enthusiasts. We repeated this success in June with a group exhibition.

Reflecting on my journey, I am grateful for the twists and turns that led me back to my true passion. From early classroom sketches to ceramic dreams, this is a story of rediscovery, resilience, and endless artistic possibilities.
