My artistic journey began early, when I spent hours drawing on a school blackboard, sparking a lifelong creative path.
After studying at Sint Lucas art school in Ghent and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, I immersed myself in the fashion world for nearly four decades.
Ten years ago, I reconnected with my true passion—ART.
I embraced ceramics, studying at the Anderlecht Academy and establishing my own atelier.
Recent highlights include my first duo-exhibition in December 2023, followed by a group show in June. My latest exhibition took place in Vittel, sept ’24, alongside other Belgian artists.
My work is inspired by Arte Povera, with forms and colors that are closely connected to nature, honoring the movements of clay.
I create impressions in the clay using natural materials like wood, stones, and tree bark, bringing the organic textures of the environment directly into each piece.
This approach ensures that each piece is truly unique, with organic shapes that retain their raw, natural qualities. The forms are never perfectly refined, embracing the imperfections and textures that come from working closely with nature.
Through their unique craftsmanship, I elevate decorative objects to a new level—free of pretension yet infused with a personal touch that resonates with the individual tastes of art and decor enthusiasts.
